David L. Kinney

David grew up in a rural community near Oklahoma City before receiving undergraduate degrees in accounting and finance. He earned his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and spent almost 30 years in government, representing the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, the Oklahoma Tax Commission, and the Office of the Oklahoma Attorney General, as well as serving as General Counsel for the Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction. He now advises Oklahoma entities on public finance bond issues remotely from California, where he and his wife, Shari, spend time with their grandchildren.
