Of Counsel

Raised in a family of lawyers, Belinda Howard Tricinella was born to be an education law attorney. Her education and career were greatly influenced by her father, an attorney who practiced law until the age of 88, and her mother, a public school teacher. Belinda spent the first two years of her legal career serving as Assistant General Counsel for the State Department of Education, where she gained valuable experience that she brought with her to the Center for Education Law.

Belinda concentrates her practice on policy development and the complex regulations of special education law. She greatly admires the commitment educators and administrators make to their communities and values her role in helping those individuals assist and encourage students. “The most rewarding part is witnessing the devoted hearts of our state’s educators and their dedication to children.”

During law school, Belinda learned appellate persuasion and procedure by clerking for the Honorable Keith Rapp of the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals. When she is away from the office, she exercises, plays tennis, and enjoys time with her husband, daughters, and parents.
